Pageview madness!

Whoa, okay.  So checked where my pageviews are coming from, I have one legit follower (Thanks, Nicole!!! x]), one that apparently constantly comes to my blog often, and some from places like Germany and Latvia.

Germany and Latvia!!! Like oh my god!  How in the world do you guys find me???  I don't have that many posts up or anything. O_o

Then another friend of mine wanted to read what I post, so I linked her here.  I have more than 10 more pageviews than I did this morning.  I don't know how many more people are reading this, but thank you guys so much!!!  This is pretty cool!  I didn't think I'd have anyone out of this country reading my posts, not for a really long while anyway.  This is pretty awesome.

You guys are the best!  For this, you all deserve a picture of a cute kitten licking its paw. =P

Thanks again everyone!

Loving you all!

I ALMOST DIED!!!

Hi World!

So, as you've most likely seen in the title, something mad has just happened in my life...I most probably overexaggerated, but with my flat mates, welllllll you never know, do you?

You see, one of my flat mates was planning on frying something for dinner...so naturally, she started heating some oil in a pot.  Me, being the antisocial creature that I am here, was quietly sitting in my room talking to Boyfriend online and watching Youtube.  Part way into my conversation about coffee with my boyfriend (I was trying to prove to a friend that real men take their coffee black....I'm just teasing him, if you drink it flavoured or whatever, it's fine with me) I heard screaming.  This wasn't the usually excited and seriously annoying screaming that I hear all the time preventing me to get any rest whatsoever, but it was more frightened.  When I heard someone say, "fire extinguisher," THEN I was worried...

So, I left my conversation about coffee to go check out the situation.  Turns out that this brilliant flat mate of mine had set fire to the oil she was heating up.  I was pretty freaked out, after all, it's the middle of winter, and although we haven't much snow right now, it is freezing cold out, not to mention, our windows don't open and the only thing we have to get the smoke out is opening the door to our flat, and turning on the fan over the stove.  The fire alarm is right in the kitchenette, being a flat after all, we were all afraid that it would be set off.  BUT!  For some strange reason, it didn't go.

When I was told about the situation, I was then asked if I had any flour to throw onto the fire.  This sounded very off to me, and later I found out why.  Flour is inflammable!!!

For those of you confused, "flammable" is technically not a word.  The proper term is "inflammable," while "noninflammable," means that it won't catch fire.  My friend has harped at me about this and told me about this crazy misconception.

Thankfully, nobody got their hands on flour...my roommate left the apartment and managed to come back with baking soda (I swear she's the smartest of the 5 of my flat mates)...so the one who set fire to the oil in the first place took the box and dumped half of it into the pot...yeah....that was a bit much, wasn't it?...

I saw a huge puff of smoke, and went back into my room, now that I figured that the excitement was over.  After a while, I figured that we should prop the apartment door open.  I went back out to see if we have anything to prop it open with, and realised that they had already done so, along with set up fans blowing the smoke out, and the contents of the pot had begun to foam and spill all over the stove.

Amazing things happen in this flat...I'm surprised I'm not dead yet, to be honest...

Well, if I live to write another post, you'll know.

Oh, the madness that ensues here...

Anyway, until next time!

If there is a next time...

Holiday Madness!

HI WORLD!!! =D

I got a new phone today because my old one decided that it would screw up its display before I went back to school.  So...new phone, new shirt (Christmas present), and new...hair?

Nope.  My hair's still the same as it was last time you checked in.  The blue didn't happen yet.  Next week maybe.  These two weeks have been packed with get togethers and everyone in the house got some variation of a cold...lucky us...Mom seems to have gotten it worst.  I'm not sure what's up with Dad or my brother and sister.  I just know they're sick too.  Mom started it ALLLLLLLLL on Christmas day...brilliant Mom...

Oh, well.

I hope everyone's feeling better soon.  I'm back to school tomorrow morning, so the four days at school will, hopefully, be enough time for me to recover...unless my roommates are sick too...then I'm doomed...we'll see.

I'll keep you guys posted.

In the mean time, I have to help make dinner.

Adios!

LOST!!!!!

I've been talking to Boyfriend while he waits for his plane back to school and realised, I've been very lucky.  I've never had to fly alone.  Why is this so lucky?  Well, yes, it does mean I would have someone to keep me company, but also, I get lost really easily.  I mean REALLY easily.  So easily, in fact, that if I walked into a mall on my own, I'd probably be lost already.

I decided that it'd be a great idea if I got paid whenever I get lost since it happens so often.  The thing is, I've never been much of a confident child, so whenever I go places on my own, I always have this thought that I'm going to get lost, and of course, lo and behold, I am.  That's about the only thing I'm actually confident about, that'd I'd get lost...brilliant me...I need to stop that.  But no, I always find that I will myself into being lost.  I mean, what is this?

I need to stop it...like really....

A little taste of my fail world,

BLUE!

My boyfriend's coming back today, I'm crazy excited, but sad at the same time.  You see, he's arriving today, but he's leaving on the 24th.  So, I really only get one full day with him.  I'm really glad that I'll get to see him again.  It's just not the same over skype.  We haven't been together since Thanksgiving, that's about 2 months there.

I'm not one of those girls who HAS to get a gift for holidays or anniversaries, all I really want is just to be with him again.  I wish we had more time than just these few days, but then again, a few days is better than not being with him at all.

Also going to visit my old high school in a couple of hours with some of my friends.  Haven't seen them since the summer at least.  I REALLY want to see everyone again, but I don't know if I'll be able to see them all in these two weeks.  I hope I get to see most of them though.  I've already met with a couple of friends and had a great time.

I got more caught up on Harry Potter.  Officially at Half Blood, but I didn't get to finish watching it, so I'll need to fix that.  I also need to fix the fact that I watched the first half of a two part episode of Doctor Who and I still haven't watched the second half since Monday.  So, that needs to be done as well.

Oh!  I'm going to colour my hair blue! ^_^  I have the hair dye and all, just need to trim and bleach my hair.  I'm actually really excited about this.  I'm not entirely sure why, but it'll be blue and I'll probably be quite content with it for a good amount of time.

I'm told that I'll probably go get it bleached tomorrow or the day after.  I really hope my parents don't get me anything for Christmas now...since I'm going to a hair dresser's to get my hair bleached, it'll probably be expensive already.  Not to mention, they paid for my schooling! @_@  I actually feel like I should do something for them, but I don't know what...If you guys have any ideas or suggestions, let me know.

Thanks a plenty!

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Review

Just saw Breaking Dawn a couple of hours ago, and I'm not going to lie.  It wasn't horrible.  Not at all.  It was definitely gory and much better than expected.

You see, the reason why it's so good, is probably because we have very low expectations because...well, it's Twilight.

The action was indeed brilliant.  The werewolf fights, unlike many werewolf fights, and werewolves for that matter, are actually very convincing in comparison to many other werewolf movies or shows.  In something like Teen Wolf, the werewolves are still very much human, in both appearance and in fights, so Twilight is quite decent if that's what you're looking for.

Also, for a movie, it is very decent and for a Twilight movie, it is brilliant!  Why? It had action, it makes you feel things, besides pure disgust at the movie.  I mean, I actually wanted to cry with Jacob.  It made me sad...even more so, Bella, so well known for her one expression, smiles, cries, is completely desperate, and stubborn.

I would recommend this movie to those who are looking for a laugh and just a good time that makes you laugh, cry, and (if you're squeamish) hide behind your friend.

I do realise that this is not the absolute best of review, but believe me, it was actually pretty good.

Hope you enjoyed this anyway.

Until next time,

Dusk

Quick Post: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Twilight

So, without many problems, I have convinced a friend of mine to be Doctor Who next Halloween.  I am very happy about this, and thought you guys should know. =P

Also, I now have all this free time to read and I'm going to a friend's tomorrow to watch Harry Potter! =D

I'm kind of behind on this whole Harry Potter thing, but better late than never, huh?  Especially since Harry seems to be a never ending fad.  We will be catching me up on this whole thing, and just catching up in general having been away from each other for so many months.

Also, we may be watching the last Twilight movie, partly for the laughs and partly because she likes it and I'm curious about how they do this crazy birth scene with Bella.

Anyway, I'm off for now.

Until next time,

Dusk
